Description

These are the seeds of the Russian Olive Tree -- originally imported into Montana as a way to help prevent erosion as well as a way to provide wildlife food. These days, though, they are being blamed for sucking up too much water out of our rivers and streams and calls are being made to define this plant now as an invasive species which should be rooted out. This is a fantasy colorization -- but there other views here, too.
